A SPACE THAT COMMUNICATES INNOVATION AND CONSTRUCTION QUALITY
In the Puente neighborhood of Ourense, next to the imposing Miño River, lies BA Construcciones. It designed an interior design project that transformed an abandoned building into a modern corporate headquarters, reflecting its human and professional talent.
NEED
The philosophies surrounding new ways of working have undergone a profound transformation in spatial design. Under this premise, a strategy was developed that reflected aesthetics, comfort, and functionality to transform an abandoned building into an operational space that embodies the company’s principles and conveys the precision of the construction trade, showcasing innovative finishes and solutions in every detail.
Furthermore, the space must be flexible and allow for use as a work area, meeting space, and display of materials without losing aesthetic coherence.
APPROACH
The project was based on the interplay of materials and lighting, with a selection of finishes that reflect the company’s contemporary character. Resources were optimized, taking into account the importance of energy efficiency. The large windows maximize natural light and provide a striking visual experience. The project allowed for the integration of distinct areas without losing spatial continuity, ensuring functionality and comfort.
SOLUTION
A sober design that offers comfort and style, present throughout the open-plan work and leisure areas, creating a new style in the work environment and promoting productivity, stimulating creativity, and promoting the well-being of those who live there.
